Bushbuck River House

Bushbuck River House is an owner run traditional Zambian farmhouse.

It is situated on the banks of the Zambezi and is the first property outside the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

The four rooms in the main house are en-suite and the newly completed Waterbuck Cottage nearby to the main house has two independent suites. Waterbuck 1 (downstairs) has two bedrooms, bathroom and small equipped kitchen. Waterbuck 2 (upstairs) has two bedrooms, bathroom and a balcony with views towards the Zambezi River.

There is a swimming pool and pool boma and a tree house/viewing platform overlooking the river. Small groups of campers can also ask to camp in their own area in the grounds of the house.

It is an individual, quiet and relaxing place to stay and it is easy to visit Victoria Falls or Chobe National Park from Bushbuck.

We offer bed and breakfast and also delicious home cooked evening meals.
The Farm is no longer productive but kept as natural bush, encouraging frequent visits by elephants, buffalo, hippo and a variety of antelope and bird species. The house is surrounded by gardens providing flowers and fruit and vegetables for the kitchen
